We have examined the right atrial free wall of the right ventricle by means of transthoracic echocardiography in 67 patients (16 with ventricular arrhythmias, 16 with a history of syncope, 20 healthy subjects and 15 patients with heart disease). Five distinct sonographic signs were found in the right atrial free wall of patients with ventricular arrhythmias (group I). We have also observed in group II, 13 cases (15%) of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, with a high probability of presence of these signs. Atrial dyskinesia was detected in 4 patients in group I. It was absent in group II. Echocardiography can easily be performed and may be useful in the diagnosis of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia.China cuts import duties on more than 80 percent of its goods from the European Union in an effort to boost trade ties.
China has cut import duties on more than 80 percent of its goods from the European Union in an effort to boost trade ties.
It announced on Tuesday that duties on 28 categories of goods, including fresh fruit, have been slashed, along with duties on over 200 products.
The measures will lead to a reduction in the average import tariff rate for EU goods by 0.85 percent.
The European Union has initiated the tariff cuts after the announcement of China's trade surplus with the bloc in the first quarter of 2018.
The EU has argued that China was not living up to its commitments under the World Trade Organisation (WTO) agreement.
However, Beijing argues that the EU's trade surplus with China is partly due to unfair trade practices of the bloc.
The import tariffs will remain at 10 percent for the rest of the year and would be completely eliminated from January 1, 2019.
Commerce Ministry spokesman Gao Feng said the measures are expected to reduce the surplus of the world's two largest economies.
"The reduction of trade tariff will further boost economic cooperation and cooperation in trade. We hope that the EU will take this opportunity to work with China to create new and good opportunities for bilateral cooperation."
